Tastings
Have your cake and eat it too! We have two options available for cake tastings— in-person tastings at our cake studio or a tasting kit to-go for pickup or delivery.
IN PERSON STUDIO TASTING
Private Studio Consultations by Appointment
In-person tastings are hosted at our Scarsdale studio Wednesday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Our Manhattan tasting salon is reserved for custom cake commissions with projected estimates exceeding $5,000.
Appointments are thoughtfully scheduled for approximately 30–45 minutes and include four curated flavors served in slices, along with a personalized design consultation to review aesthetic direction, structure, and investment range.
To preserve the intimate nature of our studio experience, in-person tastings are reserved for custom cake orders with a minimum investment of $350. Clients planning smaller celebrations are invited to order a tasting kit for pickup or local delivery.
We recommend limiting appointments to two guests; up to four may be accommodated. Our studio is intentionally intimate to allow for a focused design experience.
As our calendar is often fully booked, we kindly request prompt arrival at your scheduled time.
The tasting fee is $75 and is fully credited toward the purchase of any tiered cake with a minimum order of $600.
CAKE TASTING KITS — PICKUP OR DELIVERY
For couples who prefer a more relaxed tasting experience, we offer Cake Tasting Kits available for pickup or delivery.
Unlike our in-studio tastings, which feature plated slices, our tasting kits include four generously portioned miniature cakes crafted in the flavors you select. These are true mini cakes — not samples — giving you plenty of cake to enjoy, share, and revisit as you narrow down your favorite.
Many couples love this option because it allows them to taste slowly, graze the flavors, and enjoy the experience without the pressure of deciding on the spot. You can even turn it into a fun cake-tasting night with friends or family to help choose your wedding cake flavor.
When ordering a tasting kit, if your wedding cake order exceeds $600, the entire $75 tasting kit fee will be credited toward the tiered portion of your wedding cake, and your event date will be secured.
For smaller celebrations with cake orders under $600, a $50 tasting kit is available; however, this option is not credited toward a future cake purchase.
Once you’ve chosen your flavor, we’re happy to finalize design details via email, phone, Zoom, or an in-person consultation.
Delivery fees for tasting kits are additional and are not credited toward your cake purchase. Delivery pricing will appear automatically once your address is entered during checkout, or you may contact us to inquire about delivery to your location.
